All logos and trademarks and pictures are owned by R. D. Lawson corporation. In some instances we have used other corporations pictures and have done so with written permission. Warranty
6. All applicable warranties are included in the printed material that comes with the product and are additionally printed on our warranty page. The effective date is the date of purchase. If you are a brand new home owner (new house), and the device is already installed, the effective date is the closing date of your home. R. D. Lawson Corporation makes no expressed warranty except those stated in the warranty documentation or on our warranty page. Furthermore, product balance will have to be paid in full for the product before the effective date becomes effective. R. D. Lawson Corporation disclaims all other warranties express or implied and does not make any warranty as to the merchantability of any of our products.
Encryption Practices
7. The privacy of your credit card information is very very important to us. We make it a big deal to ensure we have done all that is possible to protect your confidential information. We take it a step further by logging all connection statistics of your internet connection during a transaction for tracking purposes if we ever have to track down someone who may try to use an unauthorized card. Most web sites don't do this. Credit Card transactions are handled by a third party on our behalf. Your information is scrambled while in transit from your computer to the credit card transaction server and also while the order is being processed by our credit card transaction company. Once your order is approved, your credit card information will not be posted or sent any further. You should feel more comfortable purchasing online than giving your credit card to a complete stranger to pay for a meal at a restaurant. R. D. Return Policy & Purchasing Policy

I. All
orders will be shipped via UPS. Orders may be cancelled
without any charges only if the product has not been shipped to you. An
order will not be considered cancelled until you receive either a phone call or
e-mail from us stating we have voided the order. The customer will be
responsible for all initial shipping costs to and from our warehouse if the
order is cancelled after shipment. An item may only be returned for a
refund credited to your credit card, or exchanged for another product. R. D.
Lawson Corporation will not be held responsible for any delays in transit
resulting from UPS strikes to the customers destination once an item has been
shipped. Items suspect to have been damaged during shipping will
need to be reported to us within 2 (two) days of receipt. Failure to
report damaged items may result in the inability to issue credit. If an
item has been determined to have been damaged during shipping, all costs for
shipping will not be the responsibility of the customer, but of the
shipping company. A pick-up request will be sent to the customer and no
charge for shipping will be incurred by the customer and a new item will be sent
back at no additional shipping charge.
If you place an order by printing out our mail-in form, we will ship your order
once the purchaser's check has cleared the bank. If a credit is due to the
purchaser (from a mail-in form) from either a return or other reason, a check
will be mailed back to the purchaser for the credited amount within 30 days of
acknowledgement.

If an item is defective or you wish to return it, you will need to contact us
within 5 (five) days of receiving the item either by e-mail or phone.
Items suspect to have been damaged during shipping will need to be
reported to us within 2 (two) days of receipt. Failure to report damaged
items may result in the inability to issue credit. If an item has been
determined to have been damaged during shipping, all costs for shipping will
not be the responsibility of the customer, but of the shipping
company. A pick-up request will be sent to the customer and no charge for
shipping will be incurred by the customer and a new item will be sent back at no
additional shipping charge. The following conditions apply to all refunds,
exchanges, and returns:
A. Products must be in their original condition in the original box.
B. Refunds or exchanges will be issued within 14 days after it has been
received in its original condition.
C. All returns and exchanges require a return authorization number (RA
number) to be issued. You will have to contact us either by e-mail or
phone to obtain this number. Items without a RA number will not be
accepted.
D. A re-stocking fee of 15% will be required for any return which is not
defective or the wrong product.
We will do our
best to solve your problem, answer your questions and handle any situation as
fast as possible.
REPAIR FOR
NON-WARRANTED MERCHANDISE
III.
We will be glad to service any of our products if out of warranty and a problem
occurs. You will need to contact us for instructions. Removal of the
product, shipping to and from the factory and re-installation will be the
responsibility of the consumer. We will gladly give you the cost of
shipping if you request it and an estimation of repairs via e-mail. R. D.
Lawson Corporation may elect to pay for shipping costs at its own discretion to
facilitate customer satisfaction for non-warranted items.
Furthermore, R. D. Lawson Corporation will not be held liable for damages
resulting during the process of removal and re-installation or at any other time
including but not limited to failure to follow all safety precautions, failure
to secure the device adequately in the ceiling, failure to comply with local
building ordinances, or failure to determine weight load capacity of the
supporting structure holding up our product.
